Hours: 

Photo sessions are by appointment only. Shoots are generally scheduled during business hours on weekdays, but we can also accommodate weekend and evening appointments as necessary.

Address:

Cheryl Savan Photoraphy's studio is located in San Jose, CA (close to downtown). The address will be provided when you book a session.

Location of photo sessions:

Shoots can take place in the studio or on location in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Pricing: 

Pricing varies depending on the scope of the project. To receive an estimate, email Cheryl or request an estimate.

Deposit:

Individuals can reserve a time for a shoot with a deposit of $75. The deposit is applied toward the balance of your final package. The deposit is refundable in case of changes or cancellations with at least 72 hours notice before the scheduled shoot time.

Payment:

The full balance of your package is due at the photo session. Cheryl Savan Photography accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

File format:

You will receive full-resolution JPEG files of your selected images at the completion of post-production.

Delivery of images:

For in-studio sessions for individuals, you will receive a disk of your images from the photo session immediately after the session if the session i spaid in full. These images will be full-resolution, unedited images. For images with retouching or digital editing, final images are delivered electronically via the web. You’ll be provided with a dedicated online folder from which you can download your images with a single click — no software required!

Retouching:

Retouching and digital editing is availalbe at an extra charge.

Standard retouching includes color correction of the image to ensure proper skin tones and facial retouching for minor blemish removal, stray hair removal, whitening of the teeth and eyes, and softening darkness under the eyes.

Deluxe retouching includes smoothing of the skin, reducing wrinkles, reducing 5 o'clock shadow thinning the face and other special requests.

Proofing & selecting your images:

We can provide an online Web gallery for viewing low-resolution proofs of selected images from your shoot. The proofs are active for 45 days after the shoot. You can easily select your favorites for the final package.

Turn-around time:

Standard turnaround time from the completion of your photo shoot (and full payment) to the creation of your online Web gallery for image proofing is 7 business days. For digital editing & retouching, standard turnaround time for retouching is 10 business days after we receive your order and payment. Note that the studio edits, processes & delivers images on one day of the week; for the quickest turn-around time, ensure that your order is in before that day (currently we generally process images on Monday but that can vary based on the week's schedule.) If you need final images more quickly, just let us know when you initially call to schedule your session, and Cheryl can tell you what she’s able to do. (Often, depending on other commitments, we can turn images around in 24 hours if absolutely necessary.)

License included:

Standard in-studio packages include a non-exclusive, worldwide right to use the images for promotional use, website use, advertising in local & regional publications, editorial use in the interior of local and regional publications, business collateral use (i.e. business cards or brochures) and personal use. Extended licenses are available.

Additional licenses

If you need a broader license than the included license, just let us know. Even if it is years after the project ended, we are happy to provide you a customized quote for any of your current or future uses of the images.
